The OmiScan is an affordable and expandable scanner, offering the full OBDII functionality (for all vehicles sold in the US from 1996 and on), as well as older (OBDI) European vehicles.
 
 

 

OmiScan is available in three different kits - Basic, Upgrade and Deluxe::
 
 OmiScan Premium, allows you to diagnose OBDII equipped vehicles as well as OBDI legacy systems on many Import vehicles. The Deluxe kit offers everything that is provided in the OBD II kit plus Audi, Saab, VW and Volvo cables and a printer plus a full copy of CAPS diagnostic help software.

Printing Results
You can print full live data reports and any apparent diagnostic trouble codes for the customer or keep for shop records (with the optional strip printer)


Flexible Software Options

  • There is no need to worry about separate cartridges for OmiScan, as the handset is fully programmable, by directly downloading the software from a PC. Software updates are available on CD ROM and can be downloaded quickly and easily. All of the software applications are preloaded onto the tool at the factory. You only pay for the applications that you want.
  • If in the future you choose to add a vehicle application, simply contact Omitec and you will be provided with an activation code that will turn on the required application instantly.
  • Software updates are provided twice per year

Diagnostic Trouble Codes - Descriptions
OmiScan also offers onboard enhanced P codes, and their descriptions, for many vehicles so you do not have to constantly refer to a manual. Simply access the code information from the OmiScan itself.
